The Maker: 

Born in 1972 in France, Mathias Chaize has been living in Bali since 2007.

Influenced by his life in Bali and his collaborations with the artisans of the Indonesian archipelago, Mathias Chaize launched his eponymous jewelry brand in 2008.

Embracing the philosophy of wabisabi or the beauty of imperfection, Mathias Chaize creates products that influenced by the beautiful and artful life of Bali, where it’s simplicity could positively impact our lives and helps recognize and feel the beauty of flawed, ephemeral and humble things.
